Staci Mauldin, EA

Staci Mauldin, EA graduated from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting.  In 2003, Ms. Mauldin was awarded her Enrolled Agent distinction with the Internal Revenue Service.  She has been a QuickBooks Pro Advisor since 2008 and has undergone extensive training to help her clients with the most current and up-to-date financial and tax services.

While attending SMU, Ms. Mauldin began her career in accounting as a clerk in a small accounting firm and managed the internal accounting duties of four companies.  While attending graduate school at the University of Texas at Dallas, she worked for Arthur Andersen and gained extensive knowledge of tax and financial planning while working for a prestigious “big five” firm.  While this was invaluable experience, she missed the personal nature of working directly with individuals and small business owners and soon returned to working for a smaller accounting firm.

Lakeside Tax & Bookkeeping began in the year 2000 when friends and associates began to open businesses and ask Ms. Mauldin to handle their accounting and tax needs.  Referrals from these first clients helped to build Lakeside Tax & Bookkeeping to what it is today as Ms. Mauldin enjoys the personal contact of working closely with individuals and small business owners to help them achieve their personal and financial goals.

Ms. Mauldin is very active in the Rowlett community.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors and as an Ambassador of the Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, on the Board of Directors of the Downtown Rowlett Association, and is Chair of Sponsorship for the Rowlett Relay for Life.  Staci is a former member of Rowlett CERT and graduate of the Rowlett Citizens Police Academy.
